INEOS, who completed a minority takeover of United last year, are not that much more popular than the Glazer family. The Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League last season, have carried out wide-scale redundancies and spent a lot of money with little to no success. Protests against the club's owners have not stopped and they are still a long way from being a force in English football again.
